Turnkey is a leading developer and manufacturer of environmental monitoring instrumentation, along with brake testing and vehicle compliance testing equipment.
Since all our instruments are products in-house, we can offer exceptional support for all our customers. Our specialist engineers are always available to help answer any questions and solve any issues which arise.
Benefit from the latest and best technology for accurate testing.
Our industrial instruments are used by a variety of clients all over the world, including police forces and local authorities in the UK. Since our monitors are used in conjunction with software and mobile apps, it couldn’t be easier to download, analyse and report the results.
The various different types of environmental monitoring instrumentation we offer include:
Dust and particle monitoring equipment
As with all our devices, these scientific testing instruments are designed and developed in-house by our team of expert engineers. Turnkey provides this type of equipment to clients working in a wide range of settings, including manufacturing plants, along with local authorities, councils or anyone involved in scientific research.
Our monitors can measure TSP, PM10, PM2.5 and PM1: the recognised sampling standards measured throughout the world.
They also measure inhalable, thoracic and respirable fractions for workplace monitoring. All are highly accurate, durable and straightforward to use.
That includes our Topas and Osiris and iPMplus monitors which are Environment Agency MCERTS certified for PM10 and PM2.5. In addition to airborne particles, they can also be used to measure environmental factors like, wind speed and direction, rainfall, temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure.
These devices can be used alongside our iGAS gas monitor and noise and vibration monitors at the same site. Since they can be powered with our solar and wind system or external batteries where there is no power at the site, they’re highly convenient. Remote control, monitoring and reporting is available with AirQWeb, and AirQApp or iInstruments apps.
Meanwhile, our handheld DustMate is fully portable, coming with mapping visualisation and upload to AirQWeb through the AirQMobile app,
Topas, Osiris and DustMate are compatible with the AlarmBox, configured to provide audio or visual alarms if predetermined levels of pollutants are exceeded.
Sound and noise testing products
Our noise monitoring equipment can be used to measure commonly used noise parameters such as LAeq, LAmax, LA10, LA90. They can also be used with our Osiris or Topas air pollution monitors to provide a complete monitoring solution. If there is no power at the site, it can be used off-grid with our solar and wind power system and with external leisure batteries.
Devices can be used in all kinds of settings, including construction and industrial sites, to monitor road traffic, airports, railways, concerts and music festivals, sporting events, nightclubs, and at motorsports venues.
This range includes the iDB Noise Monitor which provides remote on-site multichannel monitoring of noise with data logging and automatic alarms via email, text, or a visual traffic light system. You can easily configure alarm types and thresholds for vibration and noise. Thresholds can also be set to depend on the time of day.
Meanwhile, the iVIBEseismic is our combined noise and vibration monitor. It offers a straightforward and reliable approach to monitoring noise and vibration on-site in any environment.
This device provides you with the measurements and data required to effectively monitor noise and vibration levels and ensure compliance of your site.
Since the iVIBEseismic was developed with internet connectivity, sites can be monitored remotely. This makes it the ideal solution for anyone needing to access data about remote or multiple sites from another location.
Data is available in real-time for monitoring, analysis and reporting. It can be accessed on PC, mobile or tablet from anywhere as long as there is an internet connection.

With our servicing and calibration, it’s easy to make the most of your investment.
Buy industrial instruments from us and we provide provide the option of registering on the Statutory Calibration Scheme (SCS), which means you’ll benefit from:
- Calibration of your instrument to the approved standard for a period of 12 months.
- In the event of a fault developing, an instrument in the SCS will be repaired, re-calibrated for the remainder of the 12-month period (interim calibration), and returned to you without any additional charges.
- Replacement of some consumables and preventative spare parts.
