Gas monitoring can be done either continuously or periodically to check the level of gas in an environment.

This is obviously done to ensure everyone’s safety, along with ensuring you’re complying with the latest regulations. It can also keep your operations running smoothly. When looking for gas monitors for sale, you want exceptional accuracy and reliability. You also want devices that are easy to use, long lasting and worth the long-term investment.

gas-monitoring

Our gas monitors can be used in confined spaces, process areas, and any facilities where gas leaks or emissions are possible. Extremely user-friendly, they come with many great features to make your life easier. That includes coming complete with software and data management solutions.

Gas monitoring is crucial for ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment, and the environment. It helps detect hazardous gases, such as carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), methane (CH4), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which can pose health risks or cause explosions and fires.

Our gas monitors are used in a variety of industries, including the industrial sector.

Whether you work in oil and gas, chemical manufacturing, mining, wastewater treatment, or agriculture, Turnkey Instruments has a range of devices available to suit your requirements. Our gas monitors can easily be used alongside our noise and vibrant instruments, enabling you to easily collect data in one place.

There are various types of detection technologies on the market. These include those with electrochemical sensors, infrared sensors, catalytic sensors, photoionization detectors (PID), and semiconductor sensors. Each technology has its own unique advantages and is suitable for detecting specific types of gases.

At Turnkey Instruments, we use a variety of methods, including:

  •  electrochemical cells
  • nondispersive infrared sensors
  • photoionization detectors to measure different gas species, including oxides of nitrogen, (NOx), Ozone (O3), Carbon monoxide (CO), Carbon dioxide (CO2), Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and others.

With gas monitors, you can also choose between portable and fixed systems.

Portable devices are handheld instruments used for spot checks or personal monitoring. Meanwhile, fixed systems are installed at specific locations for continuous monitoring.

Nowadays, gas monitors can come with wireless connectivity, enabling remote monitoring and data logging. This capability enhances convenience and allows for real-time alerts and notifications.

iGASair

Our device, the iGASair, can measure up to six different pollutant species simultaneously and can be used indoors or outdoors.

During the monitoring process all data stored and displayed on AirQWeb, alongside data for any dust or noise and vibration instruments. It can also be used off-grid where there is no power at the site, with our solar and wind power system and with external leisure batteries.

Environmentally-friendly and convenient, it works using 4-electrode electrochemical cells. Gas species including NOx and ozone are measured simultaneously with sensitivities of better than 10 ppb, and VOCs (isobutylene) by a 10.6 eV photoionization detector (PID).

It has a built-in zero gas generator that is used to eliminate zero drift in the cells. The software algorithms automatically correct for cross-interferences between the different gas species.

Like all our devices, it’s been developed by our in-house product designers and engineers, who are consistently at the forefront of the latest technology.

It’s important to remember that regular calibration and maintenance of gas monitoring equipment are essential to ensure accuracy and reliability.

This involves adjusting sensor settings, replacing consumable components, and conducting functional tests according to manufacturer recommendations. If you need help doing with any of these devices, our expert team is always happy to assist you.

You can be assured that our gas monitoring systems are equipped with alarm features to alert personnel to hazardous gas levels. However, the rest of the time, our internet gas monitor is ultra-quiet, making it suitable for outdoor and indoor air pollution monitoring.

With Turnkey’s specialist software, data analysis and reporting couldn’t be easier.

Our gas monitors for sale include software for data analysis and reporting. This software can track trends in gas concentrations, generate compliance reports, and provide insights for optimising safety protocols and operational efficiency.

This data management solution enables you to share information worldwide, in real time. You can also store data securely, view results anywhere on any internet connected device, and quickly search results online.

If you want more details on how any of our instruments and testing equipment work, our team is always happy to help. One of the biggest advantages of buying from us is we don’t sell third party products. Instead, we have designed and developed all the testing equipment we sell.

We therefore have an in-depth understanding of how everything works and can offer the highest levels of customer support. If anything goes wrong with your device at any point, we can easily troubleshoot any issues.
